The visitor centre is the place to learn all about renewable energy and is the access point to over 90kms of trails for cycling, walking and other outdoor activities to enjoy the wildlife and beauty of Eaglesham Moor and Whitelee Forest. Events and activities throughout the year- bring suitable clothing and footwear (sturdy shoes/boots & waterproofs/suncream), binoculars and cameras may be useful and all children brought to an event, must be accompanied by an adult.

Dog Walking

The Dog's Trust in West Calder welcomes adult volunteers to walk dogs. Young people are able to participate with adult supervision. They have an excellent induction and are well organised. After initial registration you can drop in at any time.

Universal Connections

This South Lanarkshire Council youth provision gives an opportunity to introduce your young person to a ‘Youth Club' atmosphere. (For Primary 7's and upwards). They have drop-in sessions where you can have free access to the internet, pool and other activities. Let the staff know you're a COVEY befriender.
