WALKS

Lanark Loch
Hyndford Road
LANARK

A walk around the loch is a popular (and cheap) outing especially when it isn't raining. Also a perfect place for a picnic. An afternoon's boating is also fun (though check with your Project Worker beforehand).

Clyde Walkway

This is a total of 40 miles from the Falls of Clyde at New Lanark to the Tall Ship in the centre of Glasgow. You can, of course, do short stretches of it! Disabled access to the Strathclyde Loch, Carmyle Viaduct and Glasgow Green areas of the Walkway.

Falls of Clyde
New Lanark

Stroll upstream from New Lanark along the Clyde Walkway to view spectacular waterfalls. Downstream takes you to Kirkfieldbank, Hazelbank and Crossford.
